I will have my ob-gyne appointment at the end of this month but before I will meet him, I am doing research or googling it maybe I will have any idea about what I have one week ago. I am experiencing itch and I am a woman with absess in cleaning in my body or anything around my house or my clothes, hate smelly people. My question is I felt itchy and what cauld possible wrong when I am cleaning all the time in my private area and takes shower every day. So this week-end I looke at my private area and it was discolored and sometimes it is itchy and it is very annoying and uncomfortable feeling. I am 58 years old. Why now?
Vaginal infections such as candidiasis or bacterial vaginosis should be ruled out. Incase of infections,antifungal or antibiotics may be needed. Vaginal hygiene and ph should be maintained with mild vaginal washes.Blood sugar levels should be checked to rule out diabetes.A thorough vaginal and pelvic examination should be done to rule out any pelvic pathology.
