What Is The Cause Of Indent In The Right Side Of Abdomen?

I have been recently losing weight and now I notice more then before an indent to my right mid abdomin. This is r to the right about 3" from my belly button. For the last couple I years I thought it was part of a fat roll that was caused by my pants. But now as I lose weight it seems swollen above the indent. Is this something I need to see a doctor for?
