Last night I had chicken for dinner- nothing green, no salad or anything, but this morning my stool was green! I had taken 12K of vitamin D3 and thought that may have caused it.... again, I did not eat anything green- and I didn't take Chlorophyll- I am 59 and have never had a green BM in my life..... what gives?

Hello, Thanks for your query. Bile — a fat-digesting yellow-green fluid that's secreted by the liver and stored in the gallbladder — can also cause green poop. "As bile pigments travel through your gastrointestinal tract, they are chemically altered by enzymes, changing the pigments from green to brown," Your poop may be green if you eat a lot of green vegetables, such as spinach and broccoli, because these foods contain large amounts of the green pigment chlorophyll. green poop is an indication of a health issue I do hope that you have found something helpful and I will be glad to answer any further query. Take care
