What Is The Cause For Skin Tags That Itch With Discomfort At The Site Of External Piles?

Hi there, I had a hemorrhoid operation over a year ago including using the DOPLA method to block the the blood flow. Question is where the external piles were has now become like skin tags that can inflate and swell like grapes especially after evacuating which can make sitting an issue and at times itch and cause general discomfort. Cleaning the area has to be done by bathing as it's too swollen to wipe. The symptoms are not unlike before the operation. I always keep a good diet to keep regular to avoid constipation. I have been back to see the surgeon who says it's normal but now he's being looked in to by the medical board for malpractice so now I'm not sure to trust his opinion.

Any suggestions?

Gray.

General Surgeon 's  Response
Hi. This looks to be recurrence of piles. Examination by another Surgeon and appropriate therapy , may be like the regular surgery would be a better idea.
