What Is The Cause For Black Stool?
I have a 2 yr old who we found out had salmonella two wks ago. He is currenly having black stool and is up all night. He has not woke up in the night for about a yr and only does when he is not feeling well. Shoul i be worried about the salmonella still??

I really appreciate your concern looking to the history given here if you are suspecting the salmonella infection then this may not induce the black stool but the black stool may be due to the diet or iron therapy if it is there, or next would be some leaking in intestine (blood oozing) these is to be differentiate, hope this information helps you have a nice day.
