I m a male, 34 years old, no allergies to anything I know of currently. I was diagnosed with gerd and gastritis last April. Have been on protonix since then except for July. I have a aching pain to the left of my chest just below the peck. The pain always gets worse with stress. It does not hurt all the time, seems random. There is excessive gas and left of center back pain. Spoke with a family member that is a doctor and he just put me on 40mg protonix for the last few months. My other doctor wanted an endoscopy but between insurance costs and there lack of ability to schedule the procedure has kept me from doing it at this point. Just looking for any solutions so I can feel better. Thanks, Rick
