What Is The Bite Mark On The Leg?

I was laying in bed when I felt a sharp prick all of a sudden on my leg. I pulled my pajama pants a little just to see that there were two black dots. The area looked kind of raised; like a bump. The two black dots are adjacent to each other and are very close to each other. They are also relatively small. Moreover, now just 20-30 mins later my leg where I was bitten feels sore. What could this be?

I have gone through your query and can understand your concerns..

As per your complain sudden sharp prick over the leg along with appearance
of two black dots adjacent to each other seems most probably be due to any insect or bug bite..

The area is appearing swollen and raised like a bump due to the poisonous sting that causes allergic reaction in human body leading to inflammation and swelling..

I would suggest you to take anti allergics like Levocetrizine or benadryl and also anti inflammatory painkiller like Ibuprofen..
You can also do cool compresses to reduce inflammation and swelling..
Apply steroid ointment to reduce the swelling and redness..
You should also take a close look at the site and if the stinger is embedded in the skin remove it gently..
In case if still there is no resolution consult a General Physician and get evaluated..
