General & Family Physician, Dr. Vasudha's Response
Hi, I understand your difficulty. Before you prepone your period, you should be sure that you are not carrying.(Use contraceptive in the month before.) - Start taking oral contraceptive like regesterone 15 days days before you start for outing.Take 1 tablet 12 hourly for 3 days & stop. you will get periods within 8 days of stopping the pills. - After 5 th day of the bleeding start taking one pill of regestrone regularly daily at the same time each day- for 2o days. This will prevent getting periods immediatly after return. thanks.
