General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello,

Usually, the medication that is used to treat neuropathy is pregabalin. Also, other medications that are used are gabapentin (Gralise, Neurontin) and carbamazepine (Carbatrol, Tegretol).

Keep under control the blood sugar. Take an appointment with Neurologist to decide about therapy.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Take care

Regards,
Dr. Blerina Pasho, General & Family Physician
