Hi,I am Dr. Alexander H. Sheppe (Psychiatrist). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
Me and my husband are trying to conceive for a year now without any success. Previously I had conceived but I aborted it as I was not reday for a baby. But now when my husband went for his seminal analysis the report specificed " teratozoospermia" . could you let me know if this is possible as we conceived earlier
Teratozoospremia is a condition where the sperms in the semen are of abnormal morphology. The count is not a problem but the structure is defective. This can be seen in varying severity where some percentage of the sperms are normal. Mild cases have a relatively higher percent of normal sperm and a higher chance of being fertile as compared to severe cases. Having this condition reduces the chances of pregnancy but does not necessarily make it impossible. Hence it is possible that your husband has this condition and you were able to conceive earlier.
