What Is Result Of Heart Stopping For Five Minutes?
My niece had a heart transplant 8 days ago. She was making good progress however due to bleeding she suffered cardiac arrest yeasterday and her heart stopped for five minutes. She is now under heavy sedation. We are very worried what the outcome of this latest trauma is goint to mean.

If this was the cardiac arrest of five minuets then prognosis would not be good, again this is case of heart transplant so nothing can be said without the complete clinical examination and general condition, lets hope for the good, coma would be the consequences of heart arrest, have a nice day.
