What Is Recurring Sharp Pain On The Left Side Of Chest Suggestive Of?

My husband has left side chest pain and he went to the er and they did EKG and blood work and that was fine but he is still hurting. It is a sharp pain and it comes and goes in the middle of the left side of his chest near his nipple. Should we go back to the er?

I really appreciate your concern, if the EKG is done and it is unremarkable, then the next tests would be stress test and echo because EKG alone can not rule out the cardiac disease, till the symptoms can be managed with Tab Omeprazole 40 mg once in day because hyperacidity could be the cause of chest pain hope this information helps.
