What Is Normal Growth Size For Ovary Size?

Hello Samuel,

We are planning for a baby but could not succeed and consulted a doctor. They have asked me to go through ovulation study. In my last months ovulation study the Left ovary growth reached 12mm and stopped. The doctor suggested me to take medicine(Clomipure) for 5 days and now I am in the process of secound ovulation. Even this month the left ovary size came to 12.4mm and stopped. Is there any reason behind it? Is it normal? What should be the ideal size. Kindly guide. Thanks.

General Surgeon 's  Response
Hello,

There is no role in the size of the ovary. You can continue clomiphene as it will stimulate ovulation. Nothing much to worry and your treatment is in the right track.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Take care

Regards,
Dr. Shinas Hussain
