I had a ultrasound and 2 fibroid masses are seen in the upper and lower anterior uterus wall distorting and posteriously displacing the endometrial plate fibroid masses are 63mm by 70mm and 67mm by 55mm respectively ......... can this cause an health damage or bring up problems concieving , during pregnancy or during child birth
Hi thanks for posting on hcm. As mentioned benign masses growing in the anterior wall of uterus. Usually fibroids cause heavy and prolonged periods with lot of pain but it is not same in every person and the size of the fibroid also matters. In your case the size of the fibroid needs to be given attention as such a size may pose ptoblems in pregnancy though it may not likely be interfering with conception later on as the embryo grows they compete with the fetus and cause decreased growth or abortions so it is better to get them removed before conception and should be noted tthat onace once they are removed pregnancy should be delayed for 2 to 3 years bbased on tge condition of the uterine wall as the wall will be weak and may experience problems if conceived. Hope this is helpful to you. Regards
