Hello, i am a 21 year old male about an inch below 6 ft and 10 an a half stone. I went to my gp 2 weeks ago complaining of pain in my right testicle, he gave me a course of doxycycline tablets 2 per day for 2 weeks and initially the pain went. Although today and yesterday it has come back. Not as bad. I would describe it as a tickly feeling. really worried. When i saw my gp he checked for lumps etc and was fine. The bottom of my right testcle seems to have a big pipe coming from it whereas the left doesnt :/
Hi. Thank for your query. Noted your history of pain in the right testicle for which you have consulted the GP first 2 weeks ago, received Doxycyclin. But now have ticklish feeling for the last 2 days and have a pile pike feeling behind the testis.
All these history is indicative of Epididymititis. I would advise you the following: Ultrasonography and color doppler examination of the scrotum and abdomen, particularly for genito-urinary system. Tests of blood, urine, and semen. Clinical evaluation and examination by an Urologist. All theses things will lead to a proper diagnosis and guide you for further treatment.
