General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hi,

It could be melanoma and you should get your biopsy done of this area and be in close consultation with your dermatologist it the cancer of the skin is ruled out. I would suggest you not to pluck the hair out and do not apply anything over it.

Wishing you a speedy recovery. Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Saddiq Ulabidin, General & Family Physician
