What Is A Growing Pimple Under The Scrotum Suggestive Of?

I had a small fatty pimple under the testical sack not attached to either testical, approx 1/8 of an inch in diameter ever since I remember (more than 25 years). It is not sore, but I noticed in the last 25 years it doubled in size. Again it feels like a small pepple under the skin, but not attached to either testical. Should I be concerned ?

General Surgeon 's  Response
Hello,

The growing pimple under skin of scrotum is most likely related to development of Sebaceous cyst, a benign condition of the sweat gland. However, if you can provide a photo pic of the swelling, I can guide further precisely to undergo further management guidelines. If the same is the diagnosis, a minor surgery on OPD basis cures you without any ill effects.

Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Bhagyesh V. Patel, General Surgeon
