What Gives A Feeling Of Wearing A Band In The Upper Right Arm?
62y/o female, no history of heart disease, EKG and cardio lite test all ok earlier this year. No chest pain, no nausea, no light headedness or dizziness. No back pain, no pain or discomfort in left arm or chest. No shortness of breath. The outside of my upper right arm feels like there s a band on it. Only on the outside of the arm. What could this be?

Please, would you want to use some other terms to describe this feeling? Are you talking of loss of sensation or something else? With every other investigation normal and no further symptoms, this is likely benign. Keep a cool head about it and see what happens in the days and week ahead. Be calm and relaxed about this and more so because it poses no threat to health at this time.

Your symptoms points towards some problem i the nerves . It could be due to a condition called Cervical radiculopathy . This is a condition where the nerves at the neck level gets compressed causing pain or numbness or burning or feeling constriction like sensation .
You need to get X ray Cervical Spine to check if my suspicion is right or not . Kindly get it done and revert back with report.
