What Foods Are Best For An Autistic Infant?

what foods are best for an 18month old with autism. I know he does not tolerate dairy milk and not sure about soy. Is soy healthy for this infant boy. What do you think about goat s milk or almond milk. He still gets formula for toddlers as his form of milk. How much longer can he gets this?

General Surgeon 's  Response
Hi,

You can give any foods according to his wish. Foods with high fiber content will improve digestion and will prevent constipation. It is better to avoid goat milk as the bowel may not tolerate it. Include more fruits and vegetables to the diet to get adequate micronutrients.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Shinas Hussain,
