Hi,

Actually asthalin and ventolin inhalers contain the same active ingredient of salbutamol which is an effective bronchodilator (opens the airways) for the symptomatic relief of bronchospasm. Inhalers are usually best advised to children of 4 years and above and for younger children nebulizer is the best mode of drug delivery because it gives continuous medication (salbutamol). Since your daughter is not comfortable with ventolin respiratory solution (nebulization) hence asthalin inhaler with huf puf kit can be used to deliver the drug. Each puff delivers about 100 microgram of salbutamol so the usual dosage for children under the age of 12 years: up to two puffs 4 times daily.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
