What Does Tingling Sensation In The Toes Indicate?

I recently had a total hip replacement surgery. A few weeks later I began experiencing tingling in my toes and a burning sensation from my thigh down to my foot. Then my shin started feeling like ice water was thrown on it. The past week I ve noted swelling in my ankle and bottome part of my calf and shin. It looks kind of reddish in splotches. Could this possibly be RSD? I also have had three lumbar fusions with continued back pain. I originally thought the tingling was from my spine.
