I have for reference my earlier question on tingling sensation in feet and hands which was answered by a diabet a logist on 10.4.2017,11.4.2017 and 15.4.2017 and now I want to continue to question on that.That tingling sensation in feet and hands has not relieved and it appears again and again when I have worries or else.Three months back when it became severe I went to a neurologist who is fame and HOD and retired from KMC Manipal.He diagnoised it as Diabetic Distal Sensory Large Fiber Polynueropathy and prescribed me Ecosprin AV 75,Preganor MSR,Neurobion OD.He asked me to continue with Glimy s 1 mg for diabetes.I have been taking it for last 3 months and I find some relief for sometime and sometime this tingling sensation starts again.One thing I observed is that this tingling sensation suddenly appears when I worried a little bit also.Secondly I don t consume sugar at all.Some time my wife prepares some eat ables by putting little of jaggery. This little amount of jaggery also provokes tingling sensation. Thirdly I have observed that consuming too much of carbohydrates also causes tingling sensation. I cannot say when this tingling sensation starts and what time of the day.My sugar is under control.When I checked it yesterday it was 80 before food.I and 103 after food.Hab1C was 6.3 when I checked 4 months back and will check again.I think this low sugar is because of consuming less of carbohydrates. Last time you have prescribed me of Gabantin instead of Preganor MSR. With one tablet I had some sensation in the body and stopped taking it.You advised to increase the dosage after 4-5 days.But on verification I found that those tablets are meant for anticonvulsants.I don t understand how you prescribed it.Even taking Preganor continuously is also not good.Pl.advise me. Taking Ecosprin AV 75 continuously is also not good.It is an anti inflammatory tablet for thinning of blood.Pl.let me know in what way it cures tingling sensation.Shall I stop taking it.I am having constipation and I think it is because of it.For the last 7-8 months my sugar is well within control.Still I am suffering from tingling sensation.I am sure that it is because of diabetes. I don t understand how this tingling sensation starts when sugar is well with in limits and with little provocation with rise in sugar level that too well with in limits. Last time I said that I am taking 2 pegs of 60 ml each of whisky daily.Even that too I have reduced and once or twice a week. Pl.let me know how this tingling sensation can be cured.Sometimes I feel that prickling sensation in the palms and underneath the feet.I am having spondylitis of back and neck.It is not because of it. Pl.let me know this nerve damaged can be recovered or not and I can be relieved of this pain as well as sufferings.I just wanted to know is tingling sensation is beginning of diabetes or is it an advanced stage.In some articles I read that it is the beginning of diabetes.But prickling sensation in the palm and underneath the feet,neurologist while checking the feet and palm asked me whether I am having sensation or not.In diabetes it is not having sensation to heat is the advanced stage of diabetes. Moreover I checked my left eye for glaucoma and doctor prescribed me drops for it.This I am sensing the pressure only when I have too much of tingling sensation in feet and hands.So it is interconnected.It cannot be said of glaucoma.
