What Does This Widal Test Report Indicate?

Hi, I am Sunil, from 2 day I am suffering from fever, I had blood test in report I got widal test positive and SALMONELLA TYPHI O = 1:160 DILUTION SALMONELLA TYPHI H = 1:80 DILUTION SALMONELLA TYPHI AH = 1:20 DILUTION SALMONELLA TYPHI BH = 1:20 DILUTION Is it typhoid ?.

Hi Sunil,
Thanks for posting in HCM.
From the blood report you have posted and giving history of fever, the WIDAL test is indicating infection of Salmonella typhi with 1 in 160 dilution. Hence, you are suffering from typhoid.
Kindly consult Physician for appropriate treatment with a course of antibiotics. Also, you need to take adequate rest and follow bland diet for a minimum period of 3 weeks.
