What Does This Ultrasound Test Result For Fetal Growth Indicate?

I recently was diagnosed with a missed miscarriage. At my 11w3d ultrasound, the embryo measured 9w5d with no fetal heartbeat. The embryo and gestational sac were visually confirmed, but there was no visible yolk sac. Early placenta was normal for gestational age. I m told that the yolk sac should have been visible at this point in the pregnancy. Can you explain what the lack of a yolk sac may indicate? I ve found tons of blogs about a yolk sac with no embryo, but nothing about an embryo with no yolk sac.

I really appreciate your concern, presence of yolk sac is direct indication of pregnancy later comes the cardiac activity if there is not yolk sac then conception would be questionable the first sing of conception could be yolk sac, hope this information helps.
