What Does This Ultrasound Test Result After An Abortion Indicate?

I had an aspiration abortion 3 weeks ago (I was 3 weeks pregnant). I've been having off and on bleeding and I went for an ultrasound today. The sonographer's report says "bulky sized gravid uterus noted in retroverted position harbouring a single intrauterine gestational sac. No fetal pole seen. Normal deciding reaction seen. No extrauterine sac noted. No coexisting uterine mass isolated. Cervix is closed". Does this mean I'm still pregnant?

Hi there, I have understood your concern. I will suggest you the best possible treatment options.

As per your USG reports, you are still harbouring the pregnancy.
It can happen sometime when pregnancy termination is attempted in very early stage.

I will suggest you to get repeat termination procedure done under sonography guidance. This will ensure complete evacuation.

I hope this answer helps you. Thanks.
