I had an ultrasound done last Thursday and was told that I have a dark spot in my pancreas. I have had elevated liver enzymes for several years, and I had a liver ultrasound several years ago, but there was nothing found to be of concern until now. I'm scared. I just want to know what I can expect or what does this mean? Also, they told me that I need to speak to the doctor who prescribed the diabetes medication that I am currently on. However, it is very difficult to get a hold of someone to get my question answered. What can I do, becuase my appointment for the MRI is on Tuesday. I really don't want to postpone the MRI as I am concerned about my pancreas.
