What Does This Ultrasound Report Indicate?

I m a 58 year old woman, 13 years post meno. A little over a week ago I had bleeding. So had an U/S that showed a hypoechoic focus (presumably a fibroid) with a 8.9 mm endometrium with shadowing. Ovaries not seen. Also show a distended bladder. What should be next steps for investigating this?

Hello welcome to the health care magic

You are having fibroid like lesion...

And your endometrial thickness not increased much...

So if you are Symptomatic and bleeding is still present than antifibrinolytic drug can be prescribed

But if bleeding continued than in postmenopausal age caution is required and Dilatation and curretage like further work up needed along with pelvic USG examination

Take care

Consult gynecologist for examination and discuss all these

Hope this will help you
