Hello, Thank you for asking your question at health care magic.
Adenomyosis is the presence of endometrial tissue (Innner lining of uterus) in myometrium (muscle layer of uterus)
Adenomyosis is treated with NSAIDs like Ibuprofen (if not allergic ) for pain Hormonal therapy -Mirena (levonogestrol IUD) to control bleeding Uterine artery embolisation which specifically cuts off blood flow to adenomyosis and ablates the tissue Surgery (Hystrectomy) is required only if symptoms are not controlled by medical therapy
Hope I was able to answer your question Please feel free to address any more concerns Regards, Dr.Lekshmi
