What Does This Ultrasound Report Indicate?

Hi doctor, i am 26year old and i got abortion by taking tablets as per doctor advise... after 14th day of absortion i undergone scanning . In reports its mentioned heterogeneous area measuring 2.3x1.3cm is noted in the uterine cavity at the fundus and upper body . So my doctor suggested me to take cytolog 200mg tablets for 2 days and 3rd day to take methergin tablet... so could you please tell me with these can i recover completely? I dnt want to undergo d&c.. thx in advance

Hello,

It can be retained bits of tissue or fluid/blood collection.

Generally, it will settle by itself.

If it persists, procedures like dilation and curettage may be required to complete the tissues.
