General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hi,

The ultrasound report indicates that the uterus is normal in size, position, and echo pattern. No abnormal growths were seen in the myometrium. The endometrial lining is also normal in thickness. The right ovary appears normal, with visible antral follicles, which are normal structures indicating that the ovary is functioning properly.

However, the left adnexal region shows a mixed echo mass measuring 52x41x48 mm, weighing around 53 grams. It is unclear from the report what the mass may be, but the impression suggests that it could be an ovarian mass. Mild free fluid is also seen in the pouch of Douglas (POD), which is a small space between the rectum and the uterus.

The report suggests that the left adnexal mass may be infectious, but further evaluation and diagnostic tests may be needed to confirm this. It is important to consult with a healthcare provider to discuss the findings and possible next steps for evaluation and management.

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Priyanka, General & Family Physician
