What Does This Ultrasound Report During Pregnancy Indicate?
We are 5 weeks and just had our first ultrasound. They saw a Gestational sac with a yoke sac inside it. They said it is 30% closer to the cervix than it is to the Top Fundus. In cases like this, this early, do think it is a high probability of a miscarriage? My wife is 42 BTW and I am 46 and we have done IVF for 12 years. We have never had a positive blood test til now - went from 38 HCG to 108 HCG.
Wait for one week to see for the baby's heart if it comes. It is too early to comment on whether it will lead to miscarriage. Advice for bed rest with restricted activity. Avoid lifting heavy weights, avoiding straining at stools.
