Hi & Welcome to HCM.
Incomplete data: Age, any symptoms associated, obstetric history, etc.
I appreciate your concern for the ultrasound scanning report.
The findings are suggestive of uterine fibroids.
A uterine fibroid is the most common
benign tumor of a woman's uterus smooth muscles with variable size, they may grow as a single tumor or in clusters.
Hormones (estrogen and
progesterone) that stimulate development of the uterine lining during each menstrual cycle in preparation for pregnancy, appear to promote the growth of fibroids.
Most of time they do not cause any symptom.
You should consult a gynecologist if you develop the following symptoms:
1. Lower
abdominal pain that doesn't go away
2. Menstrual irregularities or painful menses
3. Pain during sexual intercourse
4. Urinary disturbances like frequency, urgency etc.
After complete evaluation, the doctor will either prescribe your medications like
Gonadotropin-releasing hormone agonists or Progestin-releasing
intrauterine device or surgical procedures may be required to remove the uterine fibroids.
Hope to have answered your query.
A feed back is appreciated.
