ultrasonogram is saying- my liver is moderately enlarged in size (16.6 cm) and homogeneous in echotexture. no focal lesion is detected. no blood sugar. in the urine test they also wrote epithalil cells 02-04 and puss cells 02 is it serious? i have unbearable abdomain pain, problem with breathing, black stool, lost controll of urinate. please suggest something.
Hi, Thanks for posting in HCM. I understand your concern. The following inferences can be drawn based on the investigation report you have furnished. 1. Liver is moderately enlarged. There are no focal lesions seen and its echotexture is homogeneous. Probably this could be due to fatty liver disease, commonly caused due to alcohol intake. 2. Urine examination showing presence of epithelial cells and pus cells in such less number could be considered as normal. You may require few more tests to know what could be the cause for your symptoms. Kindly consult Physician with the reports for further evaluation and management. Hope the information provided would be helpful. All the best.
