Myomettial mass, probably an adenomyoma. Endometriim, probably in secretory phase. Polycystic ovaries with a corpus luteum on the left. She was given pills for this. Repeat Trans rectal ultrasound on Dec. 2, 2015 with this result. Impression: Normal -sized anteverted uterus Proliferative phase endometriim Normal.Ovaries My question is as layman i just wanted to know if this is not that serious. Thank you very much.

General Surgeon 's  Response
Hello,

It is not that serious, it all sounds fine. I suggest you hear the gynaecologist if he or she plans to control scans of the adenomyoma. It may not be necessary.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Take care

Regards,
Dr Anders Mark Christensen, General Surgeon
