What Does This Trans-vaginal Ultrasound For Pregnancy While Having PCOS Indicate?

Hi.. I hope someone can answer my question and it scared me a lot.. My last LMP was March31 and i expecting my period from May 2 onwards but still my mens didn t occur so I tried HPT and all was negative.. Because my menstral period still missed I ve tried another HPT on May 19 and it is positive.. My husband and I are so happy for the great news thats why we meet my OBGyne. She advised me to have Transvaginal ultrasound to check the age of the baby as I have also PCOS.. But.. Based from the ultrasound there s no gestational sac present with thickened endometrium and with small cyst. The tech tested my urine to check if I m pregnant and still it positive with faint in second line.. I felt nothing except soreness of breast.. I m scared am I losing my second child? Or still early to check it.. Hope you can answer my question.. Thanks much

hi healthcare magic user, congratulations for positive pregnancy test, since you're PCOD and your period are delayed with transvaginal sonography is showing thicken endometrium and urine pregnancy test is positive it is sign of early pregnancy.
if I would have been your doctor I would have put you on injection HCG and tablet Duphaston twice a day to support the pregnancy .
in order to prevent abortion will need clinical history in detail and accordingly we have to go for some blood work up. wish you all the best!
