What Does This Test Result For Pancreatitis Indicate?

I have pancreatitis. im waiting on doc to call back on results that say my gallbladder is functioning at 35%. I m starving to death. It hurts to eat. I just started low fat bland diet. is it better to not eat or suffer through some pain to get nourishment. please tell what to do while I wait. I m so hungry but food hurts and I feel nauseous.

Usually pain like this due to pancreatitis is episodic and I understand it is unbearable with usually warrants for use of higher end pain killers and IV fluids . Usually during such an attack you have to be NIL by mouth and you will get your nourishment by IV fluids . Hence hospitalisation recommended.
