What Does This Semen Analysis Report Mean?

Hi, today i have done my sperm test, appearance opaque. volume:- 1.2ml viscosity normoviscid liquedfacton time 40 min ph 8.5 reaction ALKALINE SPERM COUNT 23 MILLION/ML SPERM COUNT 27.6 MILLION /EJACULATION MOTILITY (RAPID FORWARD PROGRASSIVE) 20% MOTILITY (SLUGGISH FORWARD PROGRASSIVE) 20% MOTILITY (NON PROGRESSIVE ) -10% NON MOTILE -50% NORMAL MORPHOLOGY -35% ABNORMAL MORPHOLOGY -65% ABNORMALSPERMS -SMALL HEAD, PINHEAD, ROUND HEAD, DOUBLE HEAD SWOLLEN MIDDLE PIECE SHORT TAIL, COILDED TAIL, THICK TAIL SPERMS AGGLUTINATION (SPERMS) -ABSENT. I NEED TO KNOW MY RESULT

Hi.Welcome to HEALTHCARE MAGIC..

I have gone through your query and can understand your concern.

As per your semen report , you have 1.5 ml volume & 23 million count/ml which is low . As per mobility, Only 20% are rapid progressive, 20 % are slow progressive & rest are non motile.

So all together your semen report shows that you are suffering from mild oligospermia or low sperm count. Also there is decrease in sperm motility too. This might be cause of infertility problem you are facing.

This problem might arise from number of conditions like stress, nutritional deficency & some testicular problems.
