What Does This Semen Analysis Report Indicate?

I am 54 years old. Because of lack of pregnancy with my wife since our 8 year old child, my fertility doctor has asked me to do a semen analysis. He is yet to see the report, but the reports says I have 3% normal sperms, 78% amorphous, and 18% coiled. Motility is 65%. All the other results are very well within the ranges. What does this mean for my ability to achieve pregnancy with my wife? Thanks, Kobby.

Hello! Sorry to say that your information in incomplete; however, this is a highly abnormal report and you surely need treatment!

Well, count/concentration of sperm is the most important; however, as per your description, number of normal sperms is significantly less (normal being 60-90%)

Still, the motility is good therefore there is chance of pregnancy but consult your physician for some medicines that could improve the situation.

regards,
