What Does This Radiology Report Indicate?

My radiology report says:Cervical spine: Frontal, both oblique, and lateral views show minimal osteophyte formation at the left facet joint at C7/T1 with slight osseous encroachment on the neural foramen. No other significant abnormalities evident. What does this mean?

Welcome to Health care magic.

1.The report suggest that there is a bony out growth noted posteriorly to the vertebral body called osteophytes. At level of C7/T1. ( MRI is best to assess the spine and structures - if any possibility get it done)
2.And the osseous / bony growth seen indenting on the spinal chord.
3.This findings are seen in case of degenerative changes - which could be age related or weight bearing hard working nature.
4.Treatment will be initially exercises followed by the physiotherapy will help.
5.No other significant findings means it can be treated with back exercises. Good luck.

Hope it helps you. Wish you a good health.
