General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hi,

The given rubella test result indicates that you might have had an old rubella infection or might have received vaccination against rubella which is reflected in high IgG antibody level of 58 IU/mL. So, there is nothing to worry about it because you are protected against rubella infection. The IgM antibody level of 0.5 IU/mL is not significant.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Mohammed Taher Ali, General & Family Physician
