What Does This Pelvic Ultrasound Report Indicate?

Uterus: Anteverted and normal in size measuring 6 cm in total length, and 4.9 x 4.3 x 5.3 cm for a volume of 58 mL excluding the cervix. The endometrium is normal in appearance and thickness at 13.8 mm. No focal endometrial or myometrial mass is evident. Ovaries: Normal in size measuring 2.7 x 1.8 x 1.9 cm for a volume of 4.8 mL on the right and 2.3 x 2.0 x 2.0 cm for volume of 4.6 on the left. Small simple follicles are present bilaterally. Positive arterial blood flow is present in both ovaries. No adnexal mass is evident. Free Fluid: A small amount of simple free fluid is seen in the pelvis. Kidneys: No hydronephrosis. The left renal collecting system may be partially duplicated, a normal variant. Bilateral symmetric ureteric jets are seen entering the bladder. A calculated small postvoid residual is 25 mL is present. This is my medical report but iam unable to understand about ovary and kidney report sply the Small simple follicles in ovary. is any thing serious. plz help

Hi,
Thanks for posting in HCM.
After going through your report posted about the ultrasound scan of pelvis,
your uterus, ovaries and pelvic organs are normal. Also kidneys, ureters and urinary bladder is also normal.
Small follicles which is present in the ovary is also normal.
Hence, your pelvic scan can be interpreted as normal.
