What Does This Lipid Profile Test Report Indicate?

My blood cholesterol result is 283 triglyceride 285 HDL cholesterol 36 LDL cholesterol 197 uric acid 7.8 Doctor prescribed tab caflam 50 mg 2 tab per day for a duration of 3 days and tab Rolip 10 mg 1 tab per day for duration of 3 month.is it a right dose/medicine for me or I should focus on exercise and food

dear friend
you do have high total cholestrol.triglycerides and LDL also marginally elevated uric acid.
if you are not having any small joint aches and pain you can avoid taking Caflam
as regards your Lipid abnormality is concern rosuvastatin that is prescribed is a good lipid modifying drug but in the long run you will do better if you are able to control intake of saturated fats and sugar.
exercise will help further.

there is a lot of controversy going on on the lipids and their level but till a consensus is reached about the correct levels my suggestion would be to take the medication check after three months if the levels are normal meanwhile start on an healthy diet and exercise regimen and maintain it
