What Does This High Vaginal Swab Test Report Indicate?
Hi, I have had a recent high vaginal swab which shows moderate epithelial cells, moderate gram positive cocci and moderate gram positive bacilli - what does this mean? No leucocyte or fungal, negative for all STD s and a normal regional flora and Pap smear. Thank you.

Presence of gram positive cocci and bacilli suggest bacterial infection which needs to be managed with antibiotic pessaries. I suggest you to consult your gynecologist for prescription of antibiotics.
