What Does This Colonoscopy Finding Indicate?

This am I had a colonoscopy and the following was reported: Congested mucosa was found in the ascending colon, transverse colon, descending colon, sigmoid colon, and rectum. What does this mean? On the summary report it does not list if biopsies were taken.

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Mild congestion in colon mucosa means there is some swelling and inflammation which is generally self limited. It may be due to stress of bowel prep. Again much congestion may indicate inflammatory bowel disease. In case of ulcerative colitis characteristic appearance of erythematous mucosa with contact bleeding is seen. Biopsy is necessary for diagnosis of these.
If biopsy was not taken then the colonoscopy was found to be normal. Otherwise wait for the biopsy report.
