What Does This Blood Test Report Indicate?

Hi doctor, Today we have done My fathers blood test. Please see the rresults and tell me the suggestion. Sgpt: 121 cholesterol tptal: 317 Triglycerides: 536 HDL-cholesterol: 48 LDL-cholesterol:186 VLDL- Cholesterol:107 Kindly send me ur suggestions.

Blood sugar pp is normal total cholestrol triglyceride and ldl both bad cholestrols are high hdl is normal
Patient should go for LFT scan for abdomen fatty liver bad high cholestrol should be treated with combination of simvastin with Fenofibrate, diet control and exercise

I understand your concern.

As per the investigation details it appears that your father is having elevated lipid profile. But there is nothing to worry about as far as my suggestions are concerned you should start taking atorvastatin 80 mg daily along with diet modifications. Diets in form of less lily and deep fried dishes, avoid taking mutton and chicken more than twice a month. You may take soyabean, black gram, pulses and protein rich food. Start brisk walking every morning at least half an hour daily.
For further medical treatment you may consult any physician.
