What Does This Angiography Report Indicate?

My father 63 yr old had inferior wall m.i. in 2009. Angiography revealed 80% block in distal rca. PTCA was adviced but nit done. Nw he has no symptoms like breathlessness or palpitations. Bt in routine 2Decho EF was 45% with regional wall motion abnormalities. So angiography performed in which there is 80% block in distal rca, 70% in proximal LAD, 60 % in mid LAD, 60% in distal LAD... Nw what to do. He is totally symptomless and angioplasty with multiple stenting or bypass is suggested... What is your opinion??

Hello and welcome to HCM,
The angiography sows that all major arteris supplying the heart muscles have blockage - 80% in right coronary artery (RCA), 70% in proximal left anterior descending (LAD) and 60% in mid LAD and 60% in distal LAD.
RCA and LAD are the major arteries supplying the heart muscle and their blockage to the extent of 60%-*0% is dangerous.
If left untreated it can lead to fatal myocardial infarction.
LAD is completely blocked right from starting thus stenting or by pass needs to be done in LAD.
RCA is also severely blocked so stenting or by pass is required in this artery also.
So, please move ahead as per your cardiologists advice.

Thanks and take care
