What Does This X-ray Report Indicate?

I had active tuberculosis, and in the x-ray report there are striae and small fibrotic opacities in the right upper lobe, which has a small degree of retraction, and in the middle third of the lung, and an inflammatory inflammatory process whose tuberculous granulomatous etiology should be considered first. Are these sequels serious? do they do serious damage to me?

Hello and Welcome to ‘Ask A Doctor’ service.
I have reviewed your query and here is my advice.

This is called post tubercular fibrosis. It's not serious damage but it affects later in your old age. If fibrosis is large, then you can go for surgical removal.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Chandra Shekhar
