What Does This MRI Test Result From Spine For Sharp Pain In Left Hips Indicate?

I have to force myself to walk, and it takes me 4 hrs to get dressed and moving, I have stopped doing a job that was high risk and at a police officer level. This was from dec. 2013- August 22 2014. My MRI shows asymmetric right l2-3 disc bulge without central or foraminal stenosis, and tiny central disc protrusion seems healed, and L5S1 mild facet arthrosis. I had an electrical nerve stimulation which showed slowed muscle nerve response, and my left hip gives out sharp pain. I have pain shooting down my left leg and needle sensation in my feet when I lay down. I have my back exercise, I do daily walks, I use K tape, and tens machine: My left leg is the reason sometimes I have to use the electric chair at the grocery stores, but most of the pain comes from my back areas flaring up to the point where I have to lay down and take the pressure off of the disc areas. What can I do to get the pain down so I can have a 40hr work day, and do I need a spinal specialist and or orthopedic surgeon. Thank you.

General & Family Physician 's  Response
YOUR SYMPTOMS SEEM QUITE DIS-PROPOTIONATE TO THE FINDINGS THAT YOU HAVE TOLD US
HOW EVER IT IS NOT THAT UNUSUAL
YOU DO HAVE SYMPTOMS WHICH ARE AKIN TO SCIATICA SYNDROME AND YOU DO NEED TO TAKE MEDICATION SPECIALLY A COMBINATION OF PAIN KILLERS AND MUSCLE RELAXANTS

OTHE COMBINATION OF PAINKILLERS AND GABAPENTIN CAN ALSO BE TRIED
BOTH WILL GIVE YOU CONSIDRABLE RELIEF

IT WILL BE ADVISABLE IF YOU CONSULT A SPINE NEUROSURGEON TO GET THE COMPLETE PICTURE AND BETTER TREATMENT
