I have had a really sore painful ankle since last April ,I have been messed around by my g p , I have had physio on the ankle since October but still the same so I finally got my Mir scan last week and my results have revealed a short segment longitudinal split tear of the erroneous lingua and it says in its retromalleolar portion. It also states there is minor degenerative changes in the talonavicular and naviculocuneiform articulation dorsally , haven t a clue what that means . Is an operation the only answer?
As per ur MRI report it says peroneous ligament tear. Basically u need a orthopaedic consultation Who specialise in sports medicine. U wil require rest for 3 weeks along with pain killers.
