General & Family Physician, Dr. Priyanka's Response
Hi,
The abnormal bone marrow seen on your MRI may be indicative of a bone spur or other bony growth that is putting pressure on your nerve roots. It sounds like you may be experiencing symptoms of a spinal condition, such as a herniated disc or degenerative disc disease.
A variety of conditions can cause these symptoms, and it is essential to see a doctor for an accurate diagnosis and treatment plan. Your doctor may recommend physical therapy, pain medication, or other non-surgical options, or they may refer you to a spine specialist for further evaluation and possible surgery. In any case, following your doctor's advice and seeking medical attention if your symptoms worsen is essential.
Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards, Dr. Priyanka, General & Family Physician
